Townside Travels
Masjid Nabwi Guide is offered to you by Townside Travels. The app helps pilgrims and visitors find their way around Al-Masjid an-Nabawi: gates, parking, restrooms, prayer halls, and more.
This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and doesn't do with information about you. The short version: your location never leaves your device, there are no user accounts, and the app carries no advertising or analytics of any kind.
With your permission, the app reads your device's GPS location to power a few features:
You can deny or later revoke this permission in your device's system settings at any time. The app remains fully usable without it — you simply won't see distance, direction, or "nearest to me" results.
Because location processing happens on-device, there is no server-side "use" of your location to describe. The app does not build a profile of you, does not know who you are, and has no way to identify you across sessions or devices.
The app also stores a small amount of information locally on your device only: your saved parking spot (if you choose to save one), your favorited places, and your language preference. None of this leaves your device either.
The map screen displays map imagery supplied by a third-party mapping service. Loading this, like loading any map or web content, exposes standard network information (such as your IP address and general request metadata) to that provider, the same way it would in a web browser. Townside Travels does not control, and has no access to, whatever logs that provider may keep. It does not receive your precise GPS location or any personal information from the app.
We don't collect any data. The app works fully offline, with no account, sign-in, or server connection required to use it.
Anything you save yourself, such as your parking spot or favorited places, stays on your device only. If you delete the app, that information is deleted along with it.
Masjid Nabwi Guide is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Since the app doesn't collect personal information from any user, this applies equally regardless of age.
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since the app has no accounts or push notifications set up, we won't be able to notify you directly, so please check back here occasionally.
